Early Childhood Teachers

Our highly qualified, passionate Early Childhood Teachers provide a programme and environment which inspires children to participate in learning through play and intentional teaching.

Cece Kong

Director and Early Childhood Teacher

JCece completed her Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood) at the University of Melbourne in 2016 and have since worked across a range of settings including kindergartens, long day care centres, her own family day care and university. Originally from China, Cece is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, and her multicultural background inspires her to create an inclusive and diverse learning program.

Queenie Tan

Early Childhood Teacher 4-year-old group

 

Queenie completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at The University of Melbourne in 2012. She advocates for play-based learning as the optimal method for children's education. She is passionate about teaching children emotional recognition and management, preparing them for success in school and beyond. She lives locally and has three primary school-age children. Queenie looks forward to partnering with families to support each child's journey.

Mandy Alford

Early Childhood Teacher 4-year-old group

 

Mandy has been teaching early childhood for over thirty years. She has taught in a variety of kindergarten settings including both rural, regional and overseas.

Mandy has done extra studies and completed these, giving her an exemplary teacher status. Mandy lives locally and loves spending time walking her dog, and being with her friends and family.

Jessica Kneale

Early Childhood Teacher 3-year-old group

 

Jessica completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the University of Melbourne and has over 15 years of experience working in various early childhood settings. As a mother of two, she deeply values the importance of learning through play in the early years. She is passionate about supporting young children’s development, finding great fulfillment in witnessing their growth and achievements. Jessica is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and is eager to share her love of music, arts and crafts, and diverse cultural experiences within the kindergarten program.

Karin Della Penna

Educator for the 4-year-old group

 

Karin gained a Certificate III in Childrens' Services in 2009, so fulfilling a life goal to enter into the Education Profession.  

She loves working in Early Childhood and believes children learn best through play and having fun.  Karin also has a science background and enjoys sharing it with inquisitive minds 

Tiffani Danyi

Educator for the 3-year-old and 4-year-old groups

Tiffani has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has always had a passion for working with young children and knowing she can make a difference to a child's life.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and meeting up with friends and family. Tiffani is very excited to have joined the team at Syndal Preschool and is looking forward to a wonderful year.

Support Staff
Our teaching team is supported by the highly skilled Rachel Lindsey who has many roles that help to manage the administration of Syndal Preschool.
