Four year old
Children must be 4 years of age on or before April 30 in the year of attendance.
Three year old
Children must be 3 years of age on or before April 30 in the year of attendance. They may not commence until they have actually turned 3. In line with the Children’s Services Act, children can not commence until they turn 3 as we are not registered for 2 year olds.
However, families are required to pay fees from the beginning of Term 1 to hold the position. We recommend children attend 3 year old Pre-School the year they turn 4 and 4 year old Pre-School the year they turn 5.
Central Enrolment Scheme
A Monash Council Central Enrolments Scheme Form must be completed for 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten. This can be picked up at the council, any maternal and child health center or pre-school within the City of Monash, or downloaded from http://www.monash.vic.gov.au/community/preschools.htm . There is a $10.70 fee with this to the council. Enrolments can be accepted from 18months of age. You will recieve a receipt of application within 1-3 weeks, if you do not, ring 9518 3530.
