 Parent Survey

Dear Current Parents,

As part of our funding agreement each year Syndal Pre-School undertakes a Quality Assurance process.  One part of this is to survey all families with a child or children enrolled at the centre. 

Below is an outline of the standards we will be assessing, and the levels against which we will be assessed.  These standards are based on the National Quality Framework developed by the Council of Australian Governments which will be introduced in 2012.  At Syndal Pre-School we have elected to begin using them this year.

STANDARDS OF ASSESSMENT:

1. Staff Relationships with Children and Peers

2. Partnerships with Families

3. Children’s Experiences and Learning

4. Health, Nutrition and Wellbeing

LEVELS OF ASSESSMENT:

• Unsatisfactory: indicates that a service is not meeting the standard
• Satisfactory Level: indicates that a service is working towards meeting the standard.
• Good Quality: indicates that a service is meeting the standard.
• High Quality: indicates that a service is exceeding the National Quality Standard.
